The Mitsubishi Electric inverter-driven compressor integrates advanced sensor technology to detect subtle changes in temperature. Like a car’s cruise control, the sensors automatically adjust the compressor speed to match system output requirements perfectly. They reduce the system's energy use, unlike conventional compressors that run only at one speed, resulting in an endless wasteful cycle of starting and stopping.
Uses the latest R32 refrigerant to reduce the use of high Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants. For example, R410a refrigerant has a GWP of 2088 while for R32 refrigerant it is only 675, around 66% less. Japanese manufacturers have been using R32 in their products since 2013 and have determined it is the optimum choice for the environment, energy efficiency and cost effectiveness.
The MSZ-AP Series has a uniform, streamlined design regardless ofthe size and model of the unit. The simple yet high-quality appearance is designed to blend in with any interior. When mounted, the units appear smaller due to the tapered bottom end.

This optional electrostatic, anti-allergy enzyme filter uses an enzyme catalyst to break down allergen proteins and transform them into nonallergen proteins. It also helps to reduce germs, bacteria and viruses and helps trap dust, pollens, mites and other particles.
Mitsubishi Electric’s Hybrid Nano Coating technology reduces the adhesion of various types of hydrophilic or hydrophobic dust. It is applied to the surfaces of products such as room air conditioners and ventilating fans to reduce grime, which can hinder the operational efficiency of such products.
