ElectraNet required critical climate control for a new 30 megawatt Battery Energy Storage System adjacent to an existing substation at Dalrymple on Yorke Peninsula. A cooling capacity of 1,520kW was designed to not just keep the batteries cool but to keep them within a tolerance of between 23-28°C as anything below 21°C would start to degrade the batteries.
Close-control vertical inverter twin refrigeration circuit units were selected after careful consideration of all ElectraNet's specific requirements. Strict control of humidity and temperature was paramount. These units were specifically built by Mitsubishi Electric Hydronics & Cooling Systems under the Climaveneta brand in Italy and shipped to Australia.
Even though this project brought unique challenges. Such as how to move the 1,000kg indoor units into position and how to run the two sets of refrigeration pipework between the indoor and outdoor units. We were able to fully complete the entire project to the clients satisfaction.

Units: Multiple Mitsubishi Electric PEA-RP ducted systems throughout the facility controlled remotely via the internet through the AE-200 centralised controller.
AMP required complete climate control for their $4.7 million training facility to keep their students and employees comfortable.
Multiple ducted systems controlled by an AE-200 centralised controller were designed by our engineers through heat-load and thermodynamic calculations specific to their needs.
The system was connected to their LAN to enable monitoring and operation from their workstations for convenience. This system was also connected for remote monitoring for online control.

Units: Multiple Mitsubishi Electric PLA-RP cassettes connected to CITY MULTI controlled remotely via AE-200 central controller.
They wanted to upgrade their outdated air conditioning system. We provided them with a new state-of-the-art Mitsubishi Electric CITY MULTI R2 system to reduce the running costs of their cooling and heating.
The entire system is controlled via a touch screen AE-200 centralised controller or via their internal LAN from a web browser.
