Inverter Technology

The Mitsubishi Electric inverter-driven compressor integrates advanced sensor technology to detect subtle changes in temperature. Like a car’s cruise control, the sensors automatically adjust the compressor speed to match system output requirements perfectly. They reduce the system's energy use, unlike conventional compressors that run only at one speed, resulting in an endless wasteful cycle of starting and stopping.

R32 Refrigerant

Uses the latest R32 refrigerant to reduce the use of high Global Warming Potential (GWP) refrigerants. For example, R410a refrigerant has a GWP of 2088 while for R32 refrigerant it is only 675, around 66% less. Japanese manufacturers have been using R32 in their products since 2013 and have determined it is the optimum choice for the environment, energy efficiency and cost effectiveness.

The MSZ-AP Series has a uniform, streamlined design regardless ofthe size and model of the unit. The simple yet high-quality appearance is designed to blend in with any interior. When mounted, the units appear smaller due to the tapered bottom end.

The internationally recognised Red Dot Award acknowledges products that have achieved the highest levels of design quality. It is judged by an international jury of nearly 40 experts, who said that the MSZ-AP units are “highly user-oriented and well thought out to the detail in both form and implementation”.

Whisper Quiet Operation

Mitsubishi Electric constantly strive to make their air conditioners as quiet as possible with improvements to fan blade design combined with grille shape.

A “Quiet Mode” setting has been added to the fan speed settings, ensuring super quiet operation. The MSZ-AP25 in heating mode operates as low as 18dB. This is perfect for the bedroom and won't disturb your sleep.

Triple-Action Air Filtration

The filters equipped continuously clean the air of allergens,dust, viruses and bacteria to directly improve your air quality. The filters are washable and last up to 10 years, which saves you money on maintenance.

• Nano Platinum Filter
  

  Ceramic and platinum nanoparticles are incorporated into the filter material to provide antibacterial and deodorising characteristics to improve air quality.

• Deodorising Filter
  

  These optional platinum deodorising filters use nanotechnology to absorb odours and neutralise the worst smells.

• Anti-Allergy Enzyme Filter
  

  This optional electrostatic, anti-allergy enzyme filter uses an enzyme catalyst to break down allergen proteins and transform them into nonallergen proteins. It also helps to reduce germs, bacteria and viruses and helps trap dust, pollens, mites and other particles.

Dual Barrier Coating

Mitsubishi Electric’s Hybrid Nano Coating technology reduces the adhesion of various types of hydrophilic or hydrophobic dust. It is applied to the surfaces of products such as room air conditioners and ventilating fans to reduce grime, which can hinder the operational efficiency of such products.

This state-of-the-art coating technology helps to prevent dust and greasy dirt from getting into the air conditioner.
